Long time no see darlings! It is so good to be back, and what better outfit to make a comeback in than retro, the style that keeps coming back?!

IMG_28112

We love feminine and ladylike fashions and the 50’s is one of our favorite fashion eras! High waisted, A-lined, midi length, all cuts that are super pretty and chic and very flattering too.

Rony wore a polka dotted crop top with a high waisted red midi skirt and blue peep toe heels.

We love mixing ladylike with more sexy edgy pieces. Rony’s crop top is the perfect mix of sweet and naughty!

Vera wore a polka dotted A-lined mini dress with blue ballerina flats and a blue satchel.

Hello blogging world, we’ve missed you! We pulled quite a disappearing act due to impossible schedules (which are tough to coordinate between the two of us), but we are back and so happy about it!

You all know how much we love to dress girly and sexy but at the same time we love to steal some styling ideas (and clothes) from our men. Wearing an oversized top, masculine cut jacket and a cool hat can make a very feminine look more accessible, casual and hip. We always feel more comfortable when we balance out our sexy pieces with more loose items. And remember, confidence is key to looking your best!

IMG_7712

For this post’s sexy staple items we both turned to Tmart, a cool website offering trendy and hip clothes, shoes, and accessories at amazing prices. For us this website is a very convenient one stop shop, as we hardly have time for shopping.

We picked out baroque printed miniskirts (find them here and here) which are flirty and fun and at the same time very comfortable! What more could a girl ask for?!

Vera wore her skirt with an oversized striped T-shirt, blue ballerina flats, and a checkered hat.

We hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a wonderful week ahead!

Picasso said that “The purpose of Art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls”.
We couldn’t agree more; we can get so caught up in our day to day lives that we sometimes need to get away from it all and find art to be a perfect form of escape. Art allows our minds and imaginations to wonder and go wild. It gives us inspiration and new ideas.

Last weekend we visited It is and it isn’t, an exhibit by American artist Nick Kuszyk at Saga, a modern art gallery in Jaffa. Kuszyk, aka RRobots, became well known for his colorful robot-themed street art which has now become a gorgeous part of New York City’s urban landscape.

While we loved Kuszyk’s robots and other adorable creatures, we were really taken with the geometric and architectural turn his art has taken.

IMG_7591 IMG_7601 IMG_7586 IMG_7597

We loved the colors the artist uses in his work and how the graphic qualities made the paintings look three dimensional.

IMG_7571 IMG_7577 IMG_7600

All this was especially beautiful and powerful when set against the gallery’s heavy exposed concrete architectural style.

Throughout the history of design, designers got inspired by nature, by world heritage, and by their surroundings. So here’s a glimpse of what inspires us.
Our latest travel destination was England, we traveled the country from north to south, and here we will share with you some of our favorite places and travel memoirs.

As Aerosmith sings, “Pink it’s my new obsession”. Well we’ve actually been obsessed with pink for as long as we can remember; since we were babies our mothers have been dressing us in the color of all things girly, and it has followed us into our adult lives.

IMG_7395

We decided to go full on Legally Blonde style on this one and indulge in all Pink everything!

IMG_24831

Vera wore a knit cardigan over a one shoulder frilly dress with canvas flats and layered silver jewelry.

We like to have a good cardigan wherever we go in this transitional weather.

Mix things up by adding another bright color nail polish, like Rony’s light blue.

The big question on everyone’s lips is how to look fashionable and trendy at the office while staying office-appropriate.
We put together some of our favorite office-cool outfits with our must-have staple item: A patterned button-down.

IMG_27072

Rony wore a patterned button-down shirt with a tweed skirt, green patent bag, red patent mary janes, and a multicolored statement necklace.

IMG_27411 IMG_27451 IMG_27531
The secret to successfully mixing prints is all about the colors: Mix prints with similar shades of a certain color or with complimentary colors. This will allow the prints to go well together and not clash.

IMG_27541

Vera wore a sheer snakeskin print button down shirt over a tank top with a high waisted skater skirt, thin studded belt, patent leather moccasins, patent leather bag, and sheer tights.

IMG_27631 IMG_27661 IMG_27701

If you wear a sheer top to the office make sure to wear it with a top underneath; you want people to be talking to your face, not your bra.

IMG_27721

The bold print of Vera’s top is best worn with classy solid pieces on the bottom so as not to look too flashy.

The accessories are where you can get really creative, mix colors and add bold pieces.

IMG_27571 IMG_27751

Our suggestion is to wear comfortable shoes and not go crazy with the heels; you don’t want to be limping by the end of the work day!

IMG_27821 IMG_27801

More cool office appropriate styles here and here.

Wishing you all a successful rest of the week at the office, share your favorite work outfits on our facebook page!
